NETeller VS the FBI

The FBI arrested 2 former founders of NETeller and now NETeller funds are frozen up for US citizens. Not only is NETeller not accepting funds from online gambling sites and not depositing funds to online gambling sites, but as of now US citizens can not even withdraw their funds from NETeller! There are no available options to withdraw funds. With all the heat from the government it isn't even clear if NETeller issued checks that US banks would even touch them.

If you are going to play poker in this environment don't get too much money tied up online right now. The safest option has to be Poker Stars which has always been a class act and with Poker Stars your money is completely secure. All player funds are kept in a segregated account at a leading European bank. Regardless of any developments, your money is safe and accessible at any time at Poker Stars.

I set up ePassporte the other day and funded it with a debit card and had money online in a few minutes. ePassporte is probably the safest option available right now. You can also e-mail support@pokerstars.com for instructions on how to deposit via Cashier's Check / Money Order / Bank Draft, but really who the hell wants to do that?

I'm a bit surprised that this hasn't made more headline news. Without a legal precedent, without any kind of trial even - the US government has frozen up the funds of untold thousands of its citizen's assets. Worse, shady 3rd party funding outfits are popping up over-night in an attempt to replace the once reliable NETeller.
